Is it Possible for a Short Bed Chevy Truck with Factory Gooseneck Hitch to Tow Gooseneck Trailer

Question:

Hi are there any products out there I can use with the GN prep package for the Chevy 6.6 truck bed length? Id like to use an extender just so I dont have to worry about tight turns, but the Curt product just goes straight in. A 4inch extender would probably be enough. Thanks

I wish we had something, but we do not have any gooseneck hitch extenders we can offer for the factory gooseneck hitch of your Chevy Silverado. In general it's pretty hard to tow a gooseneck trailer with a short bed truck for this reason. If the trailer happens to have a tapered nose you should be just fine with a standard ball like the part # C60692 which fits the GM rail kit goosneck hitches and also comes with safety chain loops.
