Parts Needed to Add 4-Pole and 7-way Trailer Connector to 2020 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
My 2020 Toyota Tacoma didn't come from the factory with a 7 or a 4 pin trailer connector. What is needed to add both?

We have exactly what you need to install a trailer connector on your truck. You'd install the 7-way using the Tekonsha tow package prewire harness, part # 22117. This harness not only provides a 7-way, but it will also prewire your car for a plug and play brake controller installation. To provide a 4 pin, you could use an adapter like # PK12716, or install an inline harness like # 118384 if you'd prefer a more permanent solution.
If you're needing a brake controller, you can't go wrong with the Tekonsha P3, part # 90195. The P3 is extremely user-friendly which is why it's one of our best sellers.
