Will this Work on my 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan SE

Question:

Hello I was told by the dealer that the wiring harness for this vehicle requires a module and there for wouldnt be able to utilize this as it would create check engine lights and other lighting issue. Is this a true plug and play on a Tiguan with nothing extra needed?
