Can I Use a Fulton F2 F1413040134 to Move my Trailer a Couple of Feet
Question:
Have Polaris Ranger which weighs 1700 lbs. on 6”4 x 12’ angle iron, dove tail utility trailer. Estimate trailer weight 1000 lbs. Hard to hook up trailer to truck. Looking at your Fulton F2, F1413040134. Will I able to roll the trailer with the F2, only few feet or so just to hook up. My trailer ball is 17” high off ground. Does the 10” lift mean the ball can’t be over 10” off ground. thanks

This jack is going to be a great solution for your needs. The wheels are designed to help you move the trailer around to help get it hooked up to your vehicle. The wide 8" wheel is designed to make this easy be rolling over any small cracks or rocks that may be in the way. It is recommended that when moving your trailer that you have the jack retracted some you don't want to be pulling it around all of the way extended because you'll be putting a lot of stress on it.
With your trailer being 2700 lbs. loaded this will be plenty of jack. The 1600 lbs. refers to its lift capacity. That would be Tongue weight. On your trailer that should be somewhere in the range of 270-405 lbs. which is well within the range of the jack.
As far as lift this jack will have plenty. It has 10" of lift and 8" of adjust ability. The adjust ability comes from mounting bracket sliding up and down on the back side of the jack to allow you to fine tune the height. (pic included below) When adjusted yo will find you have all the height you're going to need. I've included the installation video I did on the jack as well as the pic I mentioned.
