Recommended Ladder Rack for 2019 Toytota Tundra Short Bed With Bed Cargo Rail System

Question:

My 2020 Toyota Tundra has the 5.5 foot bed and the bed utility rail system. Which ladder rack will work with it? I'm looking for moderate (500lb +) weight capacity.

On the more budget-friendly end of the spectrum, you could go with the Rola Haul Your Might, part # 59799. This rack mounts directly to the deck rail system, and has a 800 lb capacity. If you perhaps wanted a ladder rack/ tonneau cover combination, the # FET5379-UR3005 Pace Edwards Jack Rabbit would be an excellent choice. This rack has an 800 lb capacity, is constructed of aluminum for maximum durability and is lockable to help protect your tools. This rack is compatible with the deck rail system, but will prevent it from being used while the ladder rack/tonneau cover is in place.

The Pilot # CG-902 you'd looked at is decent enough, if you're only planning on using it occasionally. If you need to carry ladders around for a living, pass on that one.
