Expert Reply:

The different water pressure regulators has to do with the construction of the material (brass/stainless steel), pressure range (40-50 psi/50-55 psi etc.), and additional features such as the inclusion of a gauge or built-in bend. I am not sure exactly what two products you are referring to as we offer several from each brand but they will both work to reduce the water pressure entering the trailer. I have attached a list of options for you. The difference in price has to do with the reasons above as well as brand. The Valterra High Flow Water Regulator part # A01-1122VP is a great option that works just fine for most. It would be hard to make the argument that one works better than the other but there are some with additional features.
