There are options for carrying bikes on your Audi Q5 that allowing access to the rear door. However, Thule does not list any of their trunk mounted bike racks as a fit for your vehicle. There is not a safe location to mount the top straps to support the weight of the bike rack.
Instead, I would recommend adding a trailer hitch and a hitch mounted bike rack. For a trailer hitch, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max Frame Class III Hitch, # 75940, and some of our most popular bike racks are the Thule Hitching Post Pro 4 Bike Rack, # TH934XTR, the Thule Helium Aero 3 Bike Rack, # TH9043PRO, or the Swagman Trailhead 4 Bike Rack, # S63380.
Each of these bike racks have a tilting feature that will give you full access to the back of your vehicle without having to remove the bike rack each time.
I have attached links for each of these bike racks for you to check out as well as a link to all of the hitch mounted bike racks that we carry.
One advantage to using a hitch and hitch mounted bike rack is that there is no contact between your vehicle and the bike rack which eliminates the possibility of damage to your vehicle from a bike rack.
