Will Optronics Trailer Light # ST90RB Light Up if Connected Directly to a 12 Volt Battery
Question:
I am building a rail road crossbuck sign. If I connect this light up to a 12V DC power supply will it burn steady?

I can honestly say I have never had someone building a railroad crossbuck sign ask me a question! But, yes, the Optronics light # ST90RB will illuminate steady when connected to a 12 volt power source, like a battery, provided that the power source has a charge (if the battery runs low the light can dim).
An LED light, like # STL90RB, will be brighter and use less power. It would not look as authentic, but it will consume less power and last longer.
To be able to turn the light off and on, you would need a switch like # BL0108-00.
