Low Clearance Tire Chain for 2018 GMC Sierra with 275/55-R20
Question:
I have 2018 GMC Sierra with 275/55-r20 tires the manual says not to use chains with this tire size. I’d like to be able to use chains. Is this a clearance issue and is there workarounds?

The best workaround will be to contact a GM dealer in the area you plan to travel that has the tire chain requirements and ask them what they recommend you do to be legal in the area you need to travel. Typically they'll have a workaround. It would be a clearance issue though so our best clearance chain setup would be the # TC2327 which are Class S compatible. They are also easy to install and provide great traction too.
I attached an install video link for more info as well.
