I do have a hitch adapter that allows you to use the Curt Class I receiver hitch part # C11394 with the 2" bike rack. The Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver part # HTAD will fit into the Class I hitch and give you a 2" opening to fit the bike rack however it does cut the tongue weight rating of your hitch in half. The new tongue weight capacity rating of the Curt Class I with the use of the adapter is 100 lbs. If the weight of your bike rack and bikes does not exceed 100 lbs then you will be fine using the adapter, but you do not want to exceed 100 lbs. Also, please understand that regardless of the number of bikes that your rack will hold, class I hitches are limited to only 2 bikes.
The installation of the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver is a pretty straight forward process. There is no drilling involved, but you may need to enlarge some access holes by drilling, filing, or using a rotary tool. I attached an installation video for you. This hitch is rated at a 3 out of 10 for difficulty, so not too bad!!
