Is Hose Kit for Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4118 Necessary for Filling Bags
Question:
If I decided not to install the air hose kit, when the Air Helper Spring is installed does the air filler valve stick out far enough to directly put air into the Helper Spring itself if I slide under the vehicle? I’m concerned about the hoses for the kit hanging down to far and getting ripped off by snow. It's on a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder

You will definitely want to install the included air hose kit with the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4118, as there likely won't be enough room to add air directly to the fittings on the bags, especially if the vehicle is loaded with any kind of cargo.
The kit does come with nylon ties to secure the tubing at various points under the vehicle to help bring up any slack. This will prevent them from getting caught on anything or being torn off by snow like what you mentioned. You would then just route the tubing back to a convenient location for the inflation valves (typically the bumper or fuel fill floor).
If you take a look at page 2 of the attached instruction manual below you can see this process written out in more detail.
