Best Way to Tow a 5th Wheel with Flat Bed Truck

Question:

I am trying to find the shortest legs I can for my Q20 head. I have a flatbed 4x4 that sits pretty tall. The replacement legs say 13inch is the lowest. I was wondering if I could go to a 24k or 25k leg if it would be any shorter

I have a solution for you, but the Curt Q legs # C16904 that you're looking at are only going to come in one size and the Curt Q head when attached to any of the available legs is always going to sit between 13-17" tall. With that being said, the best solution to tow a 5th wheel trailer with a flatbed truck is going to be using the Reese Low-Profile Hitch # RP30054, which is adjustable between 9-1/2" and 12-1/2" tall and will provide you with a way to compensate for the added height of a flat bed truck in order to tow a 5th wheel.
