If the 30 amp end of the cable is exposed to weather will rain be a problem?

Water and wiring connectors generally don't do well together. If the female side of the # A10-5030FBK is exposed to quite a bit of water though it will start to corrode over time. That said it is normally used outside so as long as you can keep it away from the weather as much as you can it'll work well for a long time. You'd just have to come up with a way to keep it out of the rain/weather as much as possible.
