Recommended Air Compressor System With Heavy Duty Compressor With 30 Cycle Duty For Air Bags
Question:
Pros, I bought the Air Lift 7500 bags to fit on my 2018 Chevy 3500 High Country SRW. However, when looking at their compressor systems, Im unimpressed with their duty cycle ratings. I would think that Firestones compressor system would be compatible if I chose to use them as it all comes down to the line size going into the bags. Am I right? Would the supplied air lines for the Firestone compressor work with the fittings on the 7500 bags?

The Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle part # AL57538 on your 2018 Chevy Silverado 3500 High Country was a nice choice! Air compressors systems are pretty much universal so you can use the Firestone Compressor system with the 7500 air bags without a problem.
I recommend to use the Air Command Compressor System w/ Wireless Remote and Heavy Duty Compressor - Dual Path part # F96VV which is a wireless system with a remote so you can inflate/deflate the bags from inside or outside the cab. The compressor has a cycle duty of 30% so that means 18 minutes on 42 minutes of cool down. You will also not have any lines to the cab which makes the install a little easier. The dual path feature of this compressor system allows you to level out the payload of your truck side to side if you need to.
If wireless is not a concern, I recommend to use Firestone Air Command II - Analog Gauge w/ Heavy Duty Compressor part # F2219. It includes cab switches instead of the wireless remote. It is still dual path like the Air Command with a 30% compressor duty cycle.
