Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier Recommendations for a 2011 GMC Terrain

I want to buy cross bars and kayak racks for my 2011 GMC Terrain. I am confused as to what combination to buy to be able to haul 2 sea or river kayaks. I like yakima or thule but am unsure of kayak racks to go with them. My sea kayaks are on the big side. suggestions?

Thule makes a nice roof rack system for the 2011 GMC Terrain with factory side rails that run front to back. You will need the Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401 and 53" WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711420. You can then use kayak carriers.

Since you have the larger type of kayaks, it would be best to carry them on their sides using the Stacker, # TH830, that you have referenced. The roof rack listed above has a capacity of 165 pounds. You also need to check the owners manual for the weight capacity of the roof and go by the lower rating.
