Solution for Older Haynes Horse Trailer that Would Need New Wheels/Hubs in Future
Question:
We are thinking about buying an older two horse trailer from the 1970s to 1980s Haynes horse trailer in a chat room it was mentioned that these trailers no longer have parts for rims and hubs which is sad because we really like the trailer . The only suggestion was to replace the axles thats not something we want to put our money into so Im checking to see if thats accurate. Tia

We do offer replacement vintage style wheels like what you sent in a picture of with wheels like the part # AM20395 and we used to have hubs that fit this wheel but due to the age and demand we no longer carry them as they've been non-standard for quite some time. Axle replacement isn't that difficult or expensive so if the trailer is really a great fit for what you need, I wouldn't let that be a determining factor. That said if you were in a position to need new hubs that is the route you'd need to go.
