Trailer Hitch and Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2019 Subaru Forester
Question:
Which hitch and trailer wiring harness do I need for my 2019 Forester? I'd prefer the hitch to be as inconspicuous as possible. What else would I need?

I'd recommend you go with the # 306-X7391 from EcoHitch. Once installed, the hitch crossbar will be concealed behind the vehicle bumper, with the only visible portion of the hitch being the receiver tube and the safety chain loops, as you can see in the provided photo. For a trailer wiring harness, I'd recommend the Tekonsha # 118467.
To complete your towing setup, you'll also need a ball mount and the properly sized trailer ball. For a ball mount, use part # 2753. For a 1-7/8 trailer ball, use # 19260 or # 63845 for a 2 inch.
I've linked to installation videos for both the hitch and the wiring harness.
