Is There a Way to Activate 12 Volt Accessory Circuit of 2019 Ford F-350 All the Time
Question:
I dont have a question, but a comment that may help others. I have a 2019 F-350 dually, I also have a brand new sundowner trailer and the interior lights of the trailer would not work. All other lights worked properly, turn, stop running etc. Just not the interior. I chased down the circuit to find it connected to the constant 12 volt pin on the 7 pin connector. Apparently on the new Ford trucks, that pin only has power with the vehicle on, and after pushing the brakes with a trailer setup in the dash display , AND ONLY WITH THE KEY FOB IN THE CAB AND ALL DOORS SHUT. I have done this and interior lights work perfectly. I have tested it and the lights have no power with door open and also no power with key fob in my pocket back by the trailer. I pulled my hair out over this. Hoping to help others with this info.

The new Ford trucks with the "smart tow" package are pretty interesting with the 12 volt accessory circuit as you have found. If for some reason you wanted this circuit to be active all the time and didn't mind a little wiring you could take 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by foot) and connect it from the positive post of the battery to the 12 volt accessory pin through a breaker like part # 9510 and you'd be set.
