Will the HM50002 back up camera system stay on all the time if wired to the running light circuit?

It sure will. As shown in the provided photo, you'd disconnect the red wire from its connection to the purple wire, then tap the red wire into the brown wire as shown in the provided photo. The # HM50002 camera system will be powered up as long as the running lights/headlights are on.
