What Size Battery Bank Is Needed for the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric Leveling System

Question:

Im looking at purchasing this kit for my camper and plan on upgrading my battery from 1 battery to 2 batteries and wandering if there is a certain size battery size needed. Im planning on getting 2 blue top Optima deep cycle batteries. Rated at 750a cold cranking amps each. Im sure this would be overkill, correct? And the reason for these batteries is because Im also adding a power inverter to power my fridge while pulling it because of the possible dangers of using propane while driving.

I spoke with Lippert about the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System part # LC358590 and they informed me that the most important aspect is that the battery/batteries are sufficiently charged, between 12.4 to 12.6 volts. That said, the size of battery/battery bank needed is going to vary based on several other factors so it would difficult to estimate this. However, the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System does not draw power constantly like a refrigerator would so as long as you have the correct battery charger then you shouldn't have issues with your setup.

The Manager30 Battery Management System part # RED88FR is the best option on the market for battery charging so if you wanted to be sure you give yourself the best option for battery charging this is what I recommend using. I have attached a review video for you so you can learn more but the system will essentially do the best job of always ensuring you have a fully charged battery bank.
