We've confirmed with Torklift that the solar panel charger of the TorkLift PowerArmor # TLA7700LS that you referenced can work with AGM batteries as-is without needing any adapters or controllers!

Yes, if you wanted to run a charge wire from your tow vehicle to the batteries in the # TLA7700LS you can do that as well to help give more of a charge when towing. It would not interfere with the solar panel in any way either.
