Easiest to Install Trailer Wiring Kit for 2015 Jeep Cherokee

I have a 2015 Jeep Cherokee latitude. I would like to add trailer lights. Do you have a simple t connector that doesn’t require a ground and wire ran to the battery like I see available for other Jeep models? I am looking for the”plug and play” option

The easiest and most plug and play option for we have for trailer wiring for your 2015 Jeep Cherokee is going to be the Tekonsha kit part # 118605. This like all of the other plug and play options do require running a power wire up to the positive post of the vehicle battery.

While this step does require a bit more time it allows the vehicle wiring to be totally protected since all of the power gets drawn from the vehicle battery. So in the event of a trailer wiring short you won't be shorting out the taillight circuits. Also your taillights are not rated to also power the lights of a trailer so this protects them from being overdrawn as well.
