A standard single cylinder deadbolt designed for a home should not be used on your RV because it likely will not fit as they are designed for doors of different thicknesses. The Valterra Deadbolt Lock for RVs - Single Cylinder - Stainless Steel - 5/8" Throw # L32CS3008 or 1" Throw # L32CS3108 are definitely what you want to use so long as your door measures 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick, which is what many RV doors are. There isn't really a comparison in general I can make due to the amount of choices, but I can tell you Valterra specializes in RV products, makes many different kinds and has a very good reputation in the industry. I think the easiest way to put it is their products are trustworthy. In regards to height, generally deadbolts are about 6 inches above the lock system.

Do I measure my travel trailer door from the outside to inside, to determine how thick the entry door is? Do you know of any deadbolts that would fit a 2020 Dutchmen Aspen Trail 2340BHSWE ?

Correct, you're measuring the overall thickness - outside to outside - of the door on your trailer. Unfortunately we don't have access to parts like these that are put on trailer like your Dutchmen Aspen Trail at the factory, so you will just need to take some measurements to compare.
