What Do Two Dots on Display of Tekonsha Primus Mean

Does the display light stay on showing two dots with the ignition off on the controller?

Two dots on the display of the Tekonsha Primus IQ part # TK90160 that you have indicates your controller is wired up properly and is not sensing a trailer connection. Since the brake controller wires directly to the vehicle battery it will have power all the time, but it will go into sleep mode after 15 minutes of no activity detected. So basically what you are seeing is totally find and you have nothing to worry about!
