Will Andersen Ultimate 5th Wheel Hitch Work on 2017 Ford F-350 Short Bed or is Sliding Hitch Needed

Andersen ultimate in 2017 F350 CCSB, pulling keystone raptor 356. Can I get away with Andersen ultimate? Or do I need to consider a slider?

I strongly recommend a sliding 5th wheel trailer hitch for your 2017 Ford F-350 short bed as opposed to the Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System # AM3200. While technically you can use the Andersen, a sharp turn is likely to result in your Keystone Raptor crashing into the back of your cab.

It is much safer to use a sliding hitch, and while it may cost a bit more now, it will be much less expensive than having to repair your F-350's cab as well as your Raptor from damage.
