Replacement Winch for 2008 Arctic Cat 400 with Factory Mounting Plate

Question:

Im seeking a replacement for a broken Warn 2.5 CI winch that was originally installed on my 2008 Arctic Cat 400. The original winch was built by Warn for Arctic Cat according to a decal. Can you recommend a replacement winch kit and let me know if any mounting adapters would be required. The current mount is factory installed.

It looks like the Warn 2.5 ci was a 2500-lb capacity winch, so you can use the Bulldog # BDW15002 as a replacement for that winch and get a slight upgrade in capacity. This winch will mount to the mounting plate # BDW15108 which is designed for the 2 bolt mounting plate on the BDW15002.

If you have a 4 bolt mounting plate on your Arctic Cat 400 you'll want to use the Bulldog # BDW15006 which has a 2500-lb capacity. I've also linked some video reviews on those winches, as well as the rest of the Bulldog winches that are able to be mounted on your Arctic Cat 400 ATV.
