Today we're gonna be taking a look at part number BDW15108. This is the Bulldog Custom Fit Lynch Mount for Articat ATV's. It's custom fabricated to fit your ATV. It's made from a steel construction and it's gonna feature a nice protective finish on it so it's gonna stand up against the elements. Now when installing, you want to be sure to orient your wench so that the cable is pulling off the bottom of the drum. This particular mount is designed to fit the Thundercat 1000, Articat 700, 650, 500, 400. To see if this is gonna fit your particular ATV and year, you can use the fit guide located right here on our website. I have it all laid out with everything you're gonna get.
So you're gonna get the wench mount and all the necessary hardware. The roller fair lead is going to be sold separately, but the hardware to get that installed is included. Now keep in mind that some Articat ATV's are already equipped from the factory with a four-bolt wench mount that fits Bulldog wenches 15006 and 15005. This mount is only needed for Bulldog wenches that have a two-bolt center mount such as part numbers 15001, 15010, 15002, and 15011. It's gonna come with detailed instructions. These are gonna walk you through the installation process step-by-step.
It's gonna show you where the mount installs on the ATV. Looks like it's a four-step installation process. Again, it just goes over the parts that it comes with, the installation process, and it shows you a nice little diagram of where it mounts. - Replacement Winch for 2008 Arctic Cat 400 with Factory Mounting PlateIt looks like the Warn 2.5 ci was a 2500-lb capacity winch, so you can use the Bulldog # BDW15002 as a replacement for that winch and get a slight upgrade in capacity. This winch will mount to the mounting plate # BDW15108 which is designed for the 2 bolt mounting plate on the BDW15002.
