What is Recommended Square Bar Length for Thule Roof Rack on 2017 Chevy Colorado

On the QA: Single Crossbar Roof Rack Recommendation for 2017 Chevy Coloradoinch it says the person needs the 57inch Thule bar, yet when I ordered my Thule roof rack, it is coming with 53inch bars. Which is correct?

Thule changed their square crossbar design a while back and when they did this some of the recommended bar lengths changed. The answer page you found was one that was done several years ago with the older recommended bar that was longer. Currently the new bar design uses the longer 53 inch crossbar setup with part numbers # TH712400, # TH480R, and # THKIT1714.
