We're still shopping for a 2020 Ford F-250 Super Duty we do plan to use for camping maybe next summer. I keep seeing and hearing from sales staff about factory rails. Why do they matter?

The factory prep packages help you make use of a gooseneck hitch or 5th wheel both easy to install and also remove if you need access to your full bed. There are 5 holes, 4 at the corners with one in the middle for the gooseneck. The 5th wheel hitches designed for factory prep packages can drop into the 4 corners per the included image.
