Best Curt 5th Wheel Hitch and Base Rails for 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 Long Bed

Question:

I've had really good experiences with Curt stuff so I would like to stay with them with a 5th wheel hitch and base rail kit for my 2020 chevy silverado 2500 and I have a long bed. What would you say the best Curt hitch and rail kit for this truck is?

The best Curt fifth wheel hitch for your 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 long bed is the Curt A20 # C16140 because of its sturdy dual jaw system which makes full contact with your king pin to give you a comfortable ride, and because its color-coded lock indicator makes the hitch easier to use than other hitches.

The A20 will give you a highly secure connection with your trailer's king pin because of its interlocking dual jaw system that wraps totally around your king pin. This means that the back-and-forth chucking, bucking and jarring that you get when towing with lesser hitches won't occur with the A20, so you can go on your journey more peacefully. It also has a handy indicator system which will let you know if the jaws on the hitch are ready to couple, uncouple or tow. This color-coded system, which you can check out in the accompanying photo along with the jaws, makes the process of hooking up or disconnecting your trailer much simpler.

The A20 # C16140 has a 20,000 lb towing capacity and comes with a lifetime warranty.

The installation kit I strongly recommend for your 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 is the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Chevy/GMC Truck # C16429-204 because it does not require any drilling into your Chevy's frame rails to install. This is not only great for your truck but also means the installation is going to be simpler and take much less time than a universal kit. Using this kit will benefit you whether you are doing the install yourself (saving hours) or having a professional do it (less install time equals less expensive labor costs).

I have added links to video reviews of both the hitch and rails for you to take a look at.
