Will a Portable Braking System Drain Battery On 2020 Jeep Gladiator

So if I install the plug and go unit what do you have to do to prevent the tow vehicle battery from going dead? 2020 Jeep Gladiator

Since the plug and go portable supplemental braking systems like Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System - Proportional # BLU37TR require power from the Jeep's vehicle battery then there is a possibility that after flat towing for long periods of time without pulling over to start the engine that the battery could die.

To avoid this I recommend to add a Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles part # RM-156-25 on the 2020 Jeep Gladiator. The charge line will allow 15 amps from the motor home's battery to maintain your Jeep's battery. If your motor home does not have a charge line at the 7-Way on the motor home, you will also need part # RM-156-75. I have attached an installation video of both charge lines.

You will also need a base plate, tow bar, tow bar wiring and possibly a high low adapter to flat tow the Jeep. Please let me know if you need me to make additional part recommendations.
