Troubleshooting Dim Lighting on Some of the Trailer Lights
Question:
My trailer is completely re-wired and all the splice connections are secure, in the correct spots, etc. However when I went to test them there was one light only that worked with brake and blinker. The other light is blinking and braking but is dimmed out. Could this be a grounding issue?

If all of your wiring connections are secure and your wires look like they're in good shape then either your grounds need to be re-evaluated or the light housing simply needs to be replaced. Make sure all of your grounds connections are securely connected to a clean, bare-metal surface as even a little rust or paint can result in a poor ground. If all of the grounds look good then it would be time to replace your lights. Let me know if this is the case and send me some pictures of your current lights so I can see what we have that would work as replacements from the linked selection.
