Where to Attach Curt Stabilization Strap for Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack on 2011 Hyundai Tucson
Question:
The Bike Rack Support Strap 18050 hook doesnt work with the Hyundai 2011 Tucson rear lift door. Any suggestions?

In some cases, you need to open the rear hatch in order to get the hook into the gap. Do this first before installing the rack and bikes. If you still cannot get the hook in place, you can try an alternate location such as a roof rack if your Tucson is equipped with one.
You can also try the gap at the side of the rear hatch rather than at the top if your Tucson has that spoiler behind the antenna.
Another possibility is to put the hook in the gap between one of the side doors and the body of the car, if it will reach. Basically, any place that you can get it secured will work.
