2015 Dodge Durange Towing Capacity
Question:
how do i know if my 2015 dodge durango is light duty or standard so i know can i tow 6200 lbs or 3500 lbs

You will look in the vehicle owner's manual for the towing capacities of your specific model vehicle.
There also should be a listed a gross combined weight rating. That's the maximum that the vehicle and trailer can weigh together with cargo, passengers, fuel and anything else in the vehicle and trailer. To determine towing capacity, subtract fully loaded vehicle weight from GCWR. If you stay within both your vehicle's towing capacity and the gross combined weight rating all should be fine.
