The water is creating a short for the door switch of the Kwikee 32 Series Electric RV Steps # LC372261 which is basically telling the module that the door is open when it's not. Either there's exposed wire between the door switch circuit which the water is creating a short or the module is allowing water to seep in and create the short there. The step light switch wiring should be purple and black. You might check to see if there's any exposed wiring you could potentially seal up better. Otherwise it would be time for a new control module # LC301702.
If the door switch needs replacing we also have the part # LC301694.
