when wiring 3 holding tank heaters on a travel trailer is it better to wire to a 3 gang system switch. Also would this need to be wired to the existing fuse box or will an additional box be required. No Boundaries 19.8 Travel Trailer.

If you wanted individual control of each of the tank heaters like part # 277-000163 you'd be best served with a 3 gang system switch kit (we do not carry any) which would give you a panel to control all three heaters. Of if you wanted to use a single switch for all of them you could use the Derale # D16740 and you'd be set.
Each of these heaters draws 4.8 amps so you'd need to run them all to a circuit that is capable of handling at least 15 amps and you'd be set. There'd be no need to install a second circuit breaker panel.
