Troubleshooting 5th Wheel 7-Way Adapter Turn Signal Circuit Not Active After Install
Question:
Hi I put in the type of wire harness that just plugs into the factory wire harness and now my right turn signal doesn’t work. What could Be the issue

Sounds like you installed a 7-way adapter like the part # 41157 which installs inline with the 7-way at the rear of the vehicle to give you a second one to install up in the bed of the truck. If the right turn signal works on the original 7-way but not on the new one you installed that would most likely indicate a contact issue between the original 7-way and the adapter. You might just try unplugging and plugging the adapter back in to see if that will clear out the connection issue. You might find that in doing this that the connectors weren't seating properly.
If the original 7-way does not have this function working either then it's most likely a fuse blown under the hood of your truck.
