SumoSprings for 2018 Ford F-250 SuperDuty FWD

Question:

Ok—I’ve settled on buying a set of SumoSprings for the rear of my ‘18 F-250. We just purchased a fifth wheel travel trailer with a pin weight of about 1700#’s, so feel these will help give me a smoother, more stable ride. However, I don’t know which “strength” to purchase from you guys! I am leaning towards the mid-strength set, 1,500 lb. Right now, with our new fifth wheel on my Anderson Ultimate hitch, the rear of my truck at the rear tires only s about 2”.

The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-127-54 with a 2,800 lb capacity are the springs you need to help with the rear sag of your 2019 Ford F-250. The stronger 2,800 lb capacity is what you need to handle the 1700 lb pin weight.

The springs will work well to level out the ride but they are made from a lighter weight micro-cellular spring. The micro-cellular material allows the spring to be progressive so they compress more with weight and less with a lighter load which creates a better ride quality for you compared to other dense rubber spring options. You do want to keep in mind these springs do not change the bed weight capacity of your truck determined by Ford.
