Can Demco Hijacker Autoslide be Used with Flexair Cushioned Pin Box
Question:
hello im looking into buying a new hitch and king pin box for my truck and trailer. im looking at the demco highjacker autoslide 18,000lbs with ford prep package and the Trailair Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box - Lippert 1621 - 18,000 lbs. I notice it looking like I will need a capture plate as well, I cant seem to figure out which one I need, any other pin boxes that would have the same level of cushion and I would be able to use the autoslide hitch?

The correct capture plate you are looking for is the part # DM6171 which will allow you to use your Demco Hijacker Autoslide part # DM8550024 with the Lippert FlexAir pin box part # LC328492 you mentioned!
The Flexair pin boxes provide the most cushioning of all of the cushioned pin boxes so it would be your best option and would be perfectly compatible with your Hijacker as long as you use the capture plates mentioned.
