The sliding Curt A20 Fifth Wheel Hitch, # C55DR will work on your 2012 Ford F-150. You might want to also look at # C16441-204, which is the custom installation kit instead of the universal installation kit and is designed to specifically fit your truck.
For suspension enhancement, the Timbren Vehicle Suspension System for 4WD, # TFR1504D, or 2WD, # TFR1502D, would be a good choice for your situation. This system includes two Aeon rubber springs that do not need to be adjusted and will provide additional support to help keep your truck level and absorb shock.
