It sounds like you need a ball mount with a drop to tow level with your trailer since your truck sits up higher. To figure out how much drop, you want to measure from the top of the receiver hitch on the truck to the ground. Then measure from the bottom of the coupler on the trailer to the ground. The difference between those two numbers is the amount of drop you need. Since I am not sure of the truck measurement I cannot tell you how much drop you need at this time. I have attached a helpful article for your reference. It is best to be within 2 inches of level with the truck.
Once you have figured how much drop you need, I recommend to use an adjustable ball mount because they usually provide a larger range of rise or drop compared to fixed ball mounts. I recommend to use Convert-A-Ball adjustable ball mount part # TK5007 which will provide you with 10-1/4" of drop and 9" of rise if you need it. I recommend 2" hitch ball part # 63845 or 2-5/16" ball part # C40007 depending on which size you need for the coupler.
