Recommended Trailer Hitch, 7-Way Wiring, and Brake Controller for 2019 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
Howdy! Just picked up my new 2019 Tacoma but it's not yet suited for towing. needing to add a hitch a 7-way and a brake controller for my trailer. See a lot of options but just kind of wanting the best and not sure how to determine that. Can you make recommendations for these parts on my truck? Thank yous all around.

We have everything you need to get your new 2019 Toyota Tacoma suited up for towing!
Starting with the trailer hitch I recommend the Curt Class III # C13264, which is the highest-capacity unit available for your Tacoma (6,000 pounds towing and 900 tongue weight) and features a nice hidden crosstube design that allows only the 2" receiver to be visible for a sleek OEM appearance (especially beneficial on a brand new truck like yours).
I have attached a couple images of the hitch installed so you can see exactly what I mean. A full install video and the written instructions are also included below.
Then for wiring you will first need to add a 4-Way harness for which the Curt T-Connector # C56349 will work perfectly. This will plug into factory ports behind the tail lights and run up to the truck's battery to provide you with a fully functional 4-Way connector.
Then from there you can use the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7 to convert it to a 7-Way. This kit includes all the wiring needed to accomplish this along with the additional components needed (circuit breakers, ring terminals, etc) to install a trailer brake controller.
Lastly for the brake controller itself I highly recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR. Like the above-mentioned Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, this particular controller is going to help to maintain a clean factory look on the truck with a small control knob that can mount in the dash or any other accessible area (see attached image). It also has the unique ability to switch between proportional and manual braking so you can always feel in control, whether you're cruising down the highway or maneuvering through off-road terrain.
I have included a short video demonstration that you can check out as well.
