How to Install 7-Way Connector on 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
Good evening. I am needing to install a 7-Way connector on my 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon for my trailer that has a 7-Way. No brakes just lights so I don't need a controller or anything. Thank you for the right parts.

We have exactly what you need to install a 7-Way connector on your new 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon so you can connect with the 7-Way on your trailer.
You will need to start with a 4-Way harness and for this the Tekonsha T-One # 118467 will work perfectly. This custom harness will plug right into a factory port behind the driver's side trim panel for a completely "plug-and-play" installation. I have attached an installation video that you can even use for reference.
Then once you have the 4-Way in place you can use the etrailer.com Adapter # C57672 to quickly convert it to a 7-Way. It simply gets plugged into the already-installed 4-Way to provide a 7-Way at the other end for your trailer. Since you only need the basic light circuits active on the connector you only need to attach the white ground wire to a clean, bare piece of metal. The remaining wires (blue, black, yellow) can simply be capped off as they aren't needed.
