Trailer Wiring For A 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Without Factory Tow Package

I'm adding a hitch for my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee and need to know what wiring is needed to pull my small trailer. It didn't come with the tow package. Help!

A popular option for many customers who value having flexibility and options for adding accessories is to have both a 4-Way and 7-Way connector. The Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7 allows you to do this and will work great with your 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee without the tow package.
If you're still in the market for a hitch, I recommend the etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98901 that comes in an attractive matte black finish, is more stratch resistant than glossy finishes, and has a low-profile look.
Once your connectors are installed, the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 is a great brake controller that plugs right into your 7-Way connector. No additional wiring required and you can control it with a mobile phone app for maximum ease of use.
