Best 5th Wheel Hitch for 2019 Ram 3500 with Factory Pucks

What is the best 5th wheel hitch to put on my new 2019 Ram 3500 with OEM prep package? I was looking at the Demco and the B&W Companion. Which do you think is the best?

The Demco # DM6076P-21K and the B&W Companion # BWRVK3600 are both great options, but if I had to choose one I would go with the Companion # BWRVK3600 .

To start, the B&W doesn't require a rail system # DM6099 like the Demco- it will mount directly into the factory puck system on your 2019 Ram 3500. This is going to allow you to have a clean truck bed when the hitch isn't installed on your truck. The B&W is also rated for up to 25000-lbs, where the Demco is a 21000-lbs hitch; so with the B&W you'll never have to worry about changing to a larger capacity hitch if you get a heavier 5th wheel trailer in the future.

Both of these hitches have a dual articulating head that allows movement front-to-back and side-to-side, as well as having an adjustable height- which will all help make hooking up your 5th wheel much easier; but the B&W also has the ability to have the head re-positioned in 3 different slots to provide for a bit of extra truck cab clearance if needed. The B&W also has a 1" thick dual jaw as opposed to the 3/4" thick jaw on the Demco, so you're going to have a more secure and sturdy connection with the B&W Companion hitch.

Overall, they're both great hitches, but I like the thicker jaw and adjustable head position on the B&W Companion # BWRVK3600 , which combined with the higher capacity and direct compatibility with the factory puck system make it the best choice to use with your 2019 Ram 3500.
