Troubleshooting Trailer Running Light Circuit Not Active on Truck But Tester Shows Voltage

Question:

I have a 2013 F150 EcoBoost and it has the tow package. The seven and 4 pin adapter in the back did did not come with the relay or the fuse installed. I put the relay in number 6 position and I dont really know where to put the fuse unless it is number 67 there is already a fuse there. I have left turn, right turn, and brake lights but no tail/running lights. I do have power to the taillight pin but when I plug the trailer in no running/tail lights come on. There are no issues with the trailor wiring as it works with other trucks. Any ideas ???

If you have power to the taillight pin of the 7-way on your truck but you can't get the circuit to activate with a connected trailer this commonly is caused by corrosion preventing the connection from being made or the pin being bent back which also prevents the connection from being made.

I also attached a help article on troubleshooting trailer wiring for you to check out as well.
