Does 2018 Toyota Highlander Computer Need to be Reprogrammed When Installing Brake Controller

The computer system for your 2018 Toyota Highlander will not need to be flashed/reprogrammed to install the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885 using the Wiring Kit # ETBC7 and Pigtail Harness # 7865 for installation.
If your Highlander doesn't already have a 4-Way trailer connector installed, you will need to first add this as well using the Tekonsha T-One # 118449 if the Highlander doesn't have the factory tow package or the Curt # 56042 if it does have the factory tow package. Both custom harnesses will plug right into existing ports at the rear of your Highlander.
