No Right Stop/Turn Lights On Small Box Utility Trailer With Running Lights On
Question:
Hi there I am trying to rewire a small box utility trailer the connectors are on the truck three females and one male on trailer is three males and one female the wires are all one colour they are green white brown and yellow I know the white is ground it is attached to the trailer white wire with another white to the trailer the left side works running light four way and turn signal however right side no running light the other two do work what can I do now

It looks like you have a standard 4-way trailer wiring harness therefore the white wire is indeed a ground, the brown wire is for the running lights, the green wire is for the right side stop/turn signal lights, and the yellow wire is for the left side stop/turn signal lights. If you are having issues with the right side stop/turn signal lights then first check to make sure there is not a fuse blown in the tow vehicle but if not then you need to start tracing the green wire all the way back to the tail light. If no breaks are found then reground the light and then check the bulb.
