How To Power Brake Lights On A 2020 Chevrolet Equinox While In Tow Mode
Question:
2020 Equinox behind 2014 Allegro bus If I buy Airforce1 brake.... how do I wire tail lights so that when Airforce1 pulls down the brake pedal the Equinox brake lights dont override the turn signals from the motorhome. Equinox tow mode is in ACC position but pressing brake activates stop lights even in this tow mode.

The stop light circuit on a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox will go dead while in tow mode after a few minutes of inactivity so in order to use the vehicle's taillights to signal you will need to install a stop light switch kit, the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit part # RM-751489. This will then work alongside the Air Force One Supplemental Braking System part # SM99243 as well. I have attached for you below a list of other parts you may need.
Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM-523193-5
Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain Tow Bar - part # RM-676
Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles - part # RM-152-LED
