Greasing Trailer Axle Spindle Where Zerk Fitting Broke Off
Question:
I have a 20’ enclosed trailer with Rockwell American easy lube axel and one of the has a broken grease zerk I tried to remove it but it just goes further in the hole. What’s the best fix or can I just put a new grease fitting and it it will still work ??

What I would recommend you do is extract as much of the old zerk fitting as you can and then going forward grease that hub by hand and you'll be totally fine if not better off than using the grease fittings.
It's pretty easy to overfill EZ lube spindles and blow out the grease seal of the hub so if you grease the hubs by hand you'll avoid that and be in good shape.
I have linked a video to the right that shows how to pack trailer bearings.
